I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

I'm issuing a challenge to everyone this weekend to find 2 other people 
to join our cause, sign up with meetup.com and our meetup group.

The aim of this group is to spread the activism amongst everyday people, 
have 1000 people doing 1-2 hours/week of volunteering instead of 100 
people doing 10-20 hours/week.

Most people don't get involved with political/government because they 
feel they simply don't have the time.  We will being using extensive use 
of technology with Restore LA to allow even those with minimal time to 
be able to help as well.

If we can't get the true support and confidence of the regular voting 
citizens of LA County, Restore LA will never get off the ground.  I am 
100% confident that if we all mention Restore LA and what we are doing 
in conversation to a friend, no matter their political views, that 
friend will believe in our cause and want to join us.

Tell a friend this weekend, tell 2.  Show them how they can sign up to 
meetup.com at no charge, how to create a simple profile, and click "join 
this meetup" at Restore LA.

This type of "follow me" action will be the key to Restore LA victories 
in months to come.
