Thanks for all of you jumping on board with this organization/idea, we've got much work to do.

I want to start our meetup with a loose, informal info and idea session to get everyone up to speed with some of the activities of this organization, its political structure, and basic philosophy.

Some of the topics covered will be:
- What is a 527 organization and what are its strengths/weaknesses
- Why promoting and fighting for our Republic is, by its very definition, multi-partisan encompassing left, right, and center political views
- How we can hold elected politicians accountable through this organization
- How can we inspire others nationwide to help us fight this fight in LA County first, get us all to focus on one major battle instead of fighting smaller, disperse battles across the country.

The main mission of this meetup group is to build "on-the-ground" support in Los Angeles County for the organization, act as its local outreach arm.

We will work to keep our goals simple and attainable, leaving most of the political type debates to other forums, meetups.

Here, we are focusing on the "top vs bottom" battle rather than the "left vs right". Before we can begin to talk politics and issues, we must first remove those that are simply interested in the power of it all, interested in ruling rather than serving.

Bring your questions and ideas, as our meetup will lay the foundation in the "ground war" to Restore the Los Angeles County Republic,

Great "Fact finding" and info session. I wish more members would have been able to attend, alot of very surprising information was shared, but what's more important is meeting a diverse group of people who share similar views and opinions.
